Privacy Policy

Last updated August 10, 2026 · Version 1.0

Your information is used for one purpose: to help secure funding for your business. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and who we share it with.

Who we are

Cap Fi Capital ("Cap Fi", "we", "us") is a commercial, equipment, and working capital finance broker. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our client, affiliate, and administrator portal at portal.capficapital.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

We collect information you give us and information generated as you use the portal:

  • Contact and identity details: name, email address, phone number, home address, and date of birth.
  • Business details: legal business name, EIN, entity type, industry, business start date, and business address.
  • Banking relationships: your primary and additional banks, banking products, deposit history, and existing loans or lines of credit.
  • Assets and liabilities: the asset categories, values, and liability information you enter.
  • Documents you upload: bank statements, identification, tax and business documents, and signed agreements.
  • Signature records: your typed name, drawn signature image, the date and time of signing, and the device and network information captured at signing.
  • Affiliate information: referral activity, assigned clients, commission rates, and payout records.
  • Usage information: sign-in dates and times, device and browser type, and messages sent inside the portal.

How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • Present your business to lenders and funding partners in order to seek financing on your behalf.
  • Create and manage your portal account and verify who you are.
  • Prepare, deliver, and store agreements, contracts, and invoices.
  • Communicate with you about your file — status updates, lender responses, reminders, and appointments.
  • Calculate and pay affiliate commissions where applicable.
  • Maintain the security of the portal, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for advertising. We share it only as needed to do the work you asked us to do:

  • Lenders and funding partners reviewing your request, with your authorization.
  • Affiliates or referral partners assigned to your file — limited to progress information only. Affiliates cannot see your personal identification documents, tax documents, bank documents, Social Security number, or the identities of the specific lenders reviewing your file.
  • Service providers that host the portal, deliver email, process payments, and schedule meetings, under contract and only for those purposes.
  • Legal and regulatory recipients where required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights.

Storage and security

Your information is stored in access-controlled databases and file storage. Access is limited by role: clients see only their own file, affiliates see only limited progress information for clients assigned to them, and administrators see the records needed to manage your file. Documents are stored in private storage and are not publicly accessible. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard safeguards.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and afterward for as long as needed to meet legal, accounting, tax, and recordkeeping obligations, and to resolve disputes. Signed agreements and transaction records are typically retained longer than working documents.

Your choices and rights

You may review and correct most of your information directly in the portal, or by contacting us. You may request a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — subject to records we are legally required to keep. You may also close your account at any time.

Email and communications

We send transactional emails related to your file, such as account confirmations, document and contract reminders, lender updates, invoices, and appointment confirmations. These are part of the service. You can contact us to change your preferred email address.

Cookies and similar technologies

The portal uses cookies and browser storage that are strictly necessary to sign you in, keep your session active, and remember your preferences. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Children

The portal is intended for business use by adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, when the change is significant, notify you in the portal or by email.
